DDG focuses on national credit-tenant anchored shopping centers, especially grocery-anchored centers, in growing metropolitan areas with populations over 200,000. However, the DDG team has vast experience across multiple real estate categories also including office, medical and industrial.
Devonshire was founded in 2009 at the height of the Great Recession to offer our investors a fiduciary friendly private real estate investment option and take advantage of superior commercial real estate opportunities in what were felt to be overlooked and oversold markets.
From six people and only $6M in assets, the company grew to 36 employees and over $500M in total property value. During that period, Devonshire raised over $130M in investor capital and paid an annual Originally organized as a private equity real estate company, the Devonshire Fund converted to Devonshire REIT, Inc. in 2013. Devonshire Development Group, Inc. was spun off as a Taxable REIT Subsidiary (TRS) in 2015.
